Planting
When do I plant? After last frost.
What pots do I need? Direct sow in ground or 1-2 gallon pots.
What soil? Average soil. Don’t over-fertilize.
How deep? Zinnia: 1/4 inch. Cosmos: 1/4 inch. Sunflower: 1 inch. Marigold: 1/4 inch. Calendula: 1/4 inch.

How long until bloom?
- Marigold: 50-60 days
- Calendula: 50-60 days
- Zinnia: 60-70 days

How much sun? 6-8 hours.
How often do I water? Deeply 1-2x per week.
Harvesting
When do I cut? When flowers are fully open but before they fade.
How do I cut? Long stems, above a leaf node.
How long do they last?
- Gomphrena: 2-3 weeks
- Zinnia: 7-10 days
- Marigold: 7-10 days
- Cosmos: 5-7 days

Common Questions
How do I make a bouquet? Strip lower leaves. Arrange in a spiral. Tie with twine.
What if flowers don’t bloom? Too much fertilizer. Stop fertilizing.
What if powdery mildew? Airflow. Milk spray.
What if seeds don’t sprout? Reply with a photo. We reship.
Can I dry the flowers? Gomphrena and strawflower dry well.
