Age Range
What age is this for? 4-10 years old.
Can a 3-year-old do it? With help. Radish and bean seeds are big enough.
Can a 10-year-old do it alone? Yes. With supervision.
Planting
When do I plant? Spring or fall. After last frost for sunflowers and beans.
What pots do I need? 5 small pots (6-8 inch).
How deep? Radish: 1/4 inch. Sunflower: 1 inch. Bean: 1 inch. Zinnia: 1/4 inch. Marigold: 1/4 inch.
Growing
How long until harvest?
- Radish: 25 days
- Marigold: 50-60 days
- Bean: 50-55 days
- Zinnia: 60-70 days
- Sunflower: 60-90 days
How much sun? 6+ hours.
How often do I water? When the top inch is dry.
