How to Control It
If in containers:
- Repot every 1-2 years.
- Divide in spring.
If in ground:
- Dig out all runners. Fragments regrow.
- Smother with cardboard + mulch for 6+ months.
Prevention
- Container only. Always.
- Sink pot into ground. If you must.
- Never share soil. Runners hide in it.
