Planting
When do I plant? Spring or fall. Radishes and lettuce first, then beans and zucchini a week later.
What pots do I need? 3-4 small pots for starting, then 5-gallon pots for tomatoes, zucchini, and beans.
What soil? Potting mix. Not garden soil.
How deep? Lettuce: surface. Radish: 1/4 inch. Bean: 1 inch. Zucchini: 1 inch. Basil: surface.
Growing
How long until harvest?
- Radish: 25 days
- Lettuce: 45-60 days
- Bean: 50-55 days
- Zucchini: 50-55 days
- Basil: 50-60 days
How much sun? 6+ hours for beans, zucchini. 4-6 hours for lettuce, radish, basil.
How often do I water? When the top inch of soil is dry. Check daily.
What if something dies? Reply to your order email with a photo. We reship once per variety.
Common Questions
Can I grow this indoors? Only with a grow light. Not recommended for beginners.
What if I only have a balcony? Perfect. This kit is designed for containers.
What if I only have a windowsill? Grow lettuce, radish, and basil. Skip beans and zucchini.
